List of emergency reporting phone numbers in Korea

You only need to remember three: 112, 119, and 110. The first two are for emergency reporting and 110 is for civil complaint consultation. There are two types of phone calls: emergency reporting and civil complaint counseling.

Even if you don't have to remember complicated reporting phone numbers, you can resolve emergencies by calling the three numbers above from your cell phone.

112

You can easily think of them as police officers.
You can report various crimes.

119

You can easily think of a fire department. Report matters related to various disasters.

110

You will be connected to the Civil Complaint Center. If you need consultation rather than an emergency, you can call here.

For emergency cases, call 112 and 119, and for non-emergency cases, call 110.

When reporting an emergency, report information, such as report details, location information, and phone number, is shared in real time with emergency agencies such as the police, fire, and coast guard, eliminating the need for repeated explanations and speeding up joint response, including cooperations between emergency agencies.

Previous emergency reporting numbers include 122 (marine accident), 1588-3650 (disaster), and 121 (water supply) etc, which were too many and difficult to memorize. However, the above three numbers make emergency reporting numbers very simple.
